OIL REFINING
Our philosophy is to refines/or partner to process crude oil and gas into finished products. AfriCorp is a key shareholder in some African refineries, facilitating the refining of its own crude oil in order to capture the full value of the product transformation.
AfriCorp Petroleum’s integrates refineries in Africa and has a significant interest in a refinery in the country.
The Company’s plants have cutting-edge conversion and reforming capacities and produce a wide range of high-quality petroleum products. In terms of the engineering properties of the production capacities and the efficiency indicators, the refineries surpass the average level, while the plants working for the Company are equal to their competitors and are located close to our key target markets.
LUBE BLENDING
AfriCorp Petroleum has agreement with LUKOIL to operate a global International brand and distribute lube in Nigeria and part of Africa. Lukoil is one of the leading manufacturers of oils, lubricants and technical fluids. The Company was established in 2005 and is a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL.
The production of LUKOIL lubricants covers 9 own production sites, 2 joint ventures and 25 involved plants located around the world. Russian sites include full-cycle production of oils at the Perm and Volgograd refineries, as well as oil blending at plants in Tyumen and Torzhok, and the production of lubricants as part of the INTESMO joint venture with Russian Railways in Volgograd.
The company produces about 800 types of lubricants that allow the use of modern LUKOIL oils in machinery and equipment of any level of complexity. In 2023, a single competence center for the development and testing of lubricants was launched in Torzhok. In cooperation with international automakers, the Company is actively developing modern oils, including at the design stage of new engines and transmission systems partner of factories, equipment manufacturers and dealerships in Russia and abroad.
LUKOIL is one of the world’s leading suppliers of lubricants for maritime shipping. LUKOIL oils are presented in ports located around the world.
Since June 2017, LLC LLK-International has also been acting as a single center for managing the business of bitumen materials of LUKOIL. The Company’s new bitumen strategy is aimed at developing its scientific potential, expanding its product portfolio, securing direct contracts with leading enterprises in the road construction industry, and realizing its export potential. At the relevant production sites, the production of bitumen materials in accordance with the latest industry standards has been mastered. LUKOIL’s range of bitumen includes more than 60 products, including polymer-modified ones. For the development and testing of bitumen materials and asphalt concrete, the country’s largest specialized research center (R&D) operates on the territory of the LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez plant, which includes a complex of laboratories and a hardware module that simulates the processes of industrial production of bitumen products. The R&D Center actively interacts with road construction organizations, helping them in the design of asphalt concrete mixtures, as well as training their personnel in the latest standards in the field of bitumen materials.
As part of its continued work on the digital transformation of the lubricants and bitumen business, LUKOIL is implementing digital solutions in such business processes as formulation development and product quality control, services for interaction with dealers and corporate customers, warehousing and logistics.
POWER GENERATION
While utility companies connect you with power and electricity, energy suppliers actually provide the energy that you and the utility companies rely on. Different energy suppliers produce energy in different ways—including, but not limited to: natural gas, nuclear power, coal energy, hydropower, solar power, and wind power. Traditionally, your utility company would choose which of these to do business with. AfriCorp Petroleum will provide turnkey gas solutions and EPC for the supply of natural gas the power plants. We deal on LNG, CNG supplies to industrial users.

Our customers include gasoline and diesel retailers, industrial users, transportation, oil & gas, trucking, government, utilities, mining, construction, plus any other commercial user or reseller of fuel etc. Simply relying on the lowest rack price available at the moment of purchase is a huge risk to both your supply chain and overall fuel costs. Natural-gas processing is a range of industrial processes designed to purify raw natural gas by removing contaminants such as solids, water, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, mercury and higher molecular mass hydrocarbons to produce pipeline quality dry natural gas for pipeline distribution and final use
The Group’s gas processing plants process the associated petroleum gas produced by LUKOIL into liquid hydrocarbons and marketable gas and treat natural gas coming from the Company’s fields.
AfriCorp Petroleum shall embark on integrated Gas Handling Facility. The Natural Gas processing plant will boost the supply of cooking gas and propane in the country, This will be of huge significance to the nation’s LPG Industry.
The strategic project’s core objective is to increase the in-country production/availability of LPG/Propane and reduce the importation of the product, whilst preserving scarce forex.
